
Type II lead-tin yellow is manufactured through the fusion of lead, tin, and quartz compositions at approximately 800° C, resulting in a yellow pigment composed of lead glass which is subsequently refined and filtered through a delicate sieve. This particular pigment remains unaffected by light exposure and maintains its stability in typical environmental conditions.
Yellowish discoloration of the skin, membranes, and sclera, also referred to as icterus, represents a health issue.
